The more you be familiar with, the better off you are.
I have had this record on my reference shelf for awhile now, and find myself picking it up more often all the time.
When looking at life insurance there are many pieces and topics to screen and that can lead to not only confusion on the part of the consumer, but also to those in the industry to different extents.
There is no "best" game plan - only the best policy for the financial objective of the buyer. Getting to that fair and then finding the policy type that fits that need is briefly mentioned specifically in the register under policy suitability. However, the underlying tone of the book throughout - its educational modify - provides information that will allow the reader to see what makes a particular epitome of policy applicable to the needs at hand - whether they be maximum cash values, fixed business applications, etc.
Mr. Steuer also touches on some more advanced upper call tools, such as premium financing, that may be of interest to those involved in sophisticated sales. As someone who has been confused with life insurance analysis for 22 years, I can say that overall this is a very useful and readable post.

New Life Insurance Investment Advisor: Achieving Fiscal Security for You and your Family Through Today's Insurance Product
Very adept summary of the products available and how to use them. Wish I would have had this book before I purchased investment grade life insurance - it would have saved me a costly misread. As it is, the book is helping me salvage the mistake. It still remains a good tax sheltered conveyance for investment if properly used and understood.

Provides paraphernalia background info
The novelist does a good job of providing an overview of life insurance as an investment and savings way. He is able to communicate the benefits of owning permanent life insurance as a supplement to your pecuniary products. However, I disagree with his strong endorsement of the variable life insurance product.
This commodity is one of the most complex products in the insurance industry. Its fees, costs and performance varies extensively from company to company. Given the fact that you can simply borrow your persistent (whole life) insurance cash values and invest them yourself (without the sales loads) why pay twice? Entire a good read, especially for those who are not informed as to how to utilize their life insurance as a financial carve.

Unprofitable of time
I'm contrite but this book is a waste of time. It is a collection of basic questions you can ask a future client to get them "interested" in life insurance. Honestly, it sounds more like a book of cheezy pick-up lines. I would not privation to be "this guy" that resorts to these lame questions to generate business. You would have a better occasion likelihood of adding busniess by getting books on the type of insurance you are looking to transaction, learn as much as you can about the product, and then purchase a book on selling. Do not waste your commissions on this register! Just IMO...

A superior survival guide for new agents
I would reccomend this enlist to agents who are looking for the language necessary to communicate their message. Most agents have quantities of knowledge, but few prospects to share with. This book helps to provide some beneficial transitional language.
Remember, snappy sales lines are no substitute for adding natural value. The best one-liners can cause plenty of damage if not occupied properly. Make sure you use a comprehensive planning process, and find ways to add value to your clients at every to b go.

OK at Best
The inventor's family must be reviewing this book because I don't see how anyone could give it 5 out of 5 stars.
It starts on Page 9. By folio 12 it has already repeated (almost word for word) several points, for instance:
Bellman 10 - "If there were a way to force yourself to create great wealth, you'd probably scarcity to know more about it wouldn't you"
Page 12 - "If there were a way to force yourself to create horrible wealth for your family, you'd probably want to know more about it wouldn't you"
For a undersized book, I'm amazed and with the amount of repetition and grammatical errors that were made.
Finally, the words/font is extremely poor. I have great vision so I can clearly see what a crumby wording job was done for this book. All of the letters have that hazy look, similar to a document that's been photo-copied too many times. Many young dots surrounding each letter blurs every sentence and makes this a less enjoyable assume from.
There are some good old points in this book, but nothing groundbreaking/original. It has a table of contents and is put together in a rational format. With that, I think I could have done better with my time and money.
I recommend Advanced Selling Strategies by Brian Tracey. Even though it is not geared specifically at Life Insurance, I have faith you'll get a lot more practical stuff out of Tracey's book.

Need for tax exemption on annuity: MD & CEO, IDBI Fortis
15.02.10
GV Nageswara Rao, managing foreman and chief executive officer (MD & CEO), IDBI Fortis Life Insurance expects the following from this year`s mixture budget:
> Insurance penetration in the country is growing but still very low. Tax benefits have been a significant driver of insurance sales over the years with almost 40% of the work in a particular year coming in the last quarter of the fiscal year (with almost 20% of annual sales occurrence in March). We thus hope that the budget will not only continue tax benefits for life insurance but create a independent limit for the same just like Health Insurance and Pensions enjoy. This will not only vigour people to obtain security through life insurance, but also create long term investments to upkeep both, their own future life needs and fuel long term domestic investments in the terseness in sectors like infrastructure.
> The other big area of concern is the increasing life expectancy and lifestyle diseases, have made it compulsory that people save for a comfortable life after retirement. Currently, annuity received under a put out to pasture plan is taxed, and this is proving to be a deterrent for people to save for their retirement. Superb exemption of annuity from tax would be the second item on the wish-list in this budget.
